Is Popping Pimples a Good Idea

No doubt, it’s difficult to get rid of pimples over night. One may feel that popping pimples is the only quick solution to this problem. It’s a general perception that removal of that viscous substance from the pimple will reduce its life, but actually it just diminishes appearance of pimple temporarily and can even prolong its life. Some people even use a pointed instrument or a needle in order to pop their pimples.
According to dermatologist, there is comparatively less harm if you remove the edge of white heads only, but you have to be careful. One must treat their face like a delicate piece of expensive glass. If you want to touch your face and pop that edge of big white head, make sure to wash your hands first. Sanitize needle by washing it with alcohol or passing it through a flame. Then prick the edge of whitehead carefully using that sterile needle and clean the pus that ooze out from the white head.
But we should never force a pimple to be removed from the face, unnecessary touching or pimples popping can even result in an increase in their number. By doing this you can spread small microscopic bacteria all over the face that can leave everlasting marks on your face.
